problem with Napa alternators?
red top that was put in last February when the oem alternator locked up. however not sure how a battery would make bearing seize? I talked to the guy at the parts counter and I got another alt free, which is part of a lifetime warranty I had to argue about with another associate until this guy...- hepp04hoe

problem with Napa alternators?
hey all I am going thru napa alternators like crazy! I have been thru 3 since February! the first one bearing seized up, not even 2 months after install. 2nd one quit charging about 2 months ago and now 3rd one just seized up as well. anyone else having these problems? 1A Auto wheel bearing.
I went with the timken bearing and my mechanic who is GM certified and trained been wrenching for 25+ years did the work. he told me that other than brakes which I got the nnbs stuff waiting to go on it all looked great for a 15 year old SUV in the rust infested state of Iowa. where are you guys getting timken bearings for best price? have found them on Amazon for 110 which is better than my local napa.i know cheap isnt better and I prefer quality, but was just looking for feedback and i appreciate it all. old girl has 150,000 on it so would love to go another 150,000...- hepp04hoe

1A Auto wheel bearing.
anyone ever used 1A Auto wheel bearings? the reviews on their site look great! just wanted any feedback from you guys. my front left hub is junk jacked it up and hands at 12 and 6 can move wheel and tire probably 2 inches back and forth, if not more.- hepp04hoe

Did I just get ripped off?
I had to replace the four that are on the front of the truck, bought the pre bent stainless steel kit for 120 thru napa and paid my mechanic 240 in labor, however I did call the local gm shop and they wanted 750 to replace the same 4. Blew hard brake line
blew front left hard brake line tonight while pulling trailer with mower! I'm pretty sure it's the one that goes from ABS module to the front left caliper. has anyone replaced this? if so any tips or idea how long of new piece I need to replace it? or is the dorman stainless steel kit the way to...- hepp04hoe

lmao yes the kid got my phone. I'm cool with ass being a bit higher, I run a lawncare company and 98 percent of the time I'm pulling a trailer with 2 60 inch toros or our camper.- hepp04hoe

yea I had both shocks off and rear end dropped then another jack on each side jacking up like a see-saw and there was enough room for spring and maybe 3/4 inch- hepp04hoe
