Thanks for all the replies guys. I’m slowly getting used to it. I think what killed me, I took a 200+ mike drive on the worst highway in Northern California the day after I got it done, and I wasn’t used to the former ride yet. Hopefully I get used to it.
The jounce stops were the only thing I...
Thanks! Not too sure if I like it with it cranked, ride is noticeably stiffer, but I also went from Bilstien 4600’s to 5100’s. I’m gonna feel it out for a while. 1/2” more in the front and it would look even better, but I know it will make the ride worse, and I doubt my stock keys even have that...
So I just did a complete overall of my suspension & steering components, including Moog front end parts, Bilstien 5100’s front and rear, cognito pitman/idler braces, and also had the mechanic crank the stock keys a bit. It’s not completely level, but I’m now sitting at 37” in front & 38 1/4” in...

Finally got to diag everything with the help of a friend. Turns out my A-arm bushings and balljojnts are fine, along with both the inner and outer tie rods (very surprising at 262k) My culprit seems to be worn pitman arm, idler arm, & steering box. I will be buying those parts, along with the...
Not the jounce bumpers, but from what I’ve came across on YouTube & by searching a couple threads on here, when you lift the truck using the keys, it reduces the distance between the upper control arm & the frame. Let me find some of the links, & I will post them here so you can see what I mean.
So I’ve been doing a lot of research lately and I’m coming across mixed reviews on leveling. My main question is, if I level my truck by lifting it 2 inches in front using the keys, will I need aftermarket UCA’s like the ones from cognito? I’m seeing tons of videos with leveled trucks resting on...
