All you have to do is make a + on the rivet head with a cut off wheel then hit it with a air chisel. Rivets will push right through the frame. Quite easy but really noisey. Ear protection recomended.
Mileage, I've never checked if it was better. Power, yes in performance cars. In the tahoe its about the same but the plugs are alot cheaper than the platnums. I did get better mileage and power doing the injector upgrade.
Yeah the flywheel is grinding. I'm gonna pull the conector for the injectors and test to make shure that they are pulsing. I'm starting to think they are dumping fuel at once leading to a bad ecm.
I used one of the plugs i pulled to check for spark. I don't have my pressure tester with me but i smell fuel and when i hit the schrader valve it sprayed fuel everywhere. I even tried starting fluid with no results. Just waiting for the battery to charge now.
This week i had to do a water pump, hoses, and a new stater. Truck hasn't run since last week. Its been giving me problems starting when it sits so i went ahaed and pulled the upper intake. I could tell by the clean spot that i was leaking fuel. I did the injector upgrade and it still won't...
