Anti-theft light
well after I attempted the re-learn process i found on youtube I managed to drain my battery low enough I had to jump start the tahoe. After I jumped started it the anti-theft light was off. driven it several times since and it hasnt returned so I'll take that a free win.- dojrs

well 4 days ago i tried the re-learn process of turning the ignition key forward to the ON posiotion for 10 minutes or until the anti-theft light flashed. well that was a bust as all I managed to accomplish was killing my battery after 20-25 minutes, and never once did I get the anti-theft light...- dojrs

The clock spring I ordered from rockauto was in my opinion a whole wiring harness. If it's the one I think you're referring to it's a white plug with 2 wires, can't rem the wire colors right off though. And the clock spring I used I had to pull that one out and replace it with the new one. And...- dojrs

Well today I finally got the new clock spring installed, everything was plug to plug except for one connection I could not figure out where it went. rear main seal replacement
I just had the oil pickup tube, O-ring, for the life of me I can't rem the correct name of the sensor but the one on the side of oil pan, and the oil pressure sensor replaced a month ago due to the Oring being bad and couldn't keep good pressure. catalytic converter deleted
Yeah I definitely had to have it tuned when I swapped the cam in. It would not idle to save its life, but I did make a rather large jump in cam size. I lost interest in the Tahoe mainly due to a busy schedule for the past 2 years and now I've slowed down a little and been picking at it somewhat...- dojrs

catalytic converter deleted
Has anyone deleted their catalytic converter(s) and had success with keeping the check engine off ? I had my tahoe tuned after doing a cam swap and the O2 sensor is the only thing tripping the check engine light. I'm currently running long tube headers, NO cats, and a 40 series flowmaster single...- dojrs

rear main seal replacement
I'm dropping my '05 tahoe at the mechanic in the next few days for the rear main seal to be replaced. Other than the rear main seal itself and the rear engine plate gasket, are there any other seals, gaskets, etc... I should order prior to its drop-off so I can pick the parts myself to help...- dojrs

Shock bolt size
Does anyone happen to know what size the rear shock bolts are on top ? The best I can tell is M14 x 2.00 x unknown length. I know I can guess it but I'd really like to keep it somewhat uniform as I'm only missing one nut and bolt.- dojrs

Binding in reverse
Done that this afternoon, saw the culprit before I ever got the wheel and tire off. I lost the lower caliper bracket bolt, and I'm purely guessing but the torque of the rear-end going put the bracket into a bind against the brake disc causing the inability to spin properly.
