I concur. Installed these a few months ago and they are terrific all around. Durability remains to be seen of course. The LE2s are the updated and improved version of the original LEs which are still available from places and are best to avoid.
Gonna follow this one. I'm getting the occasional clunk when cold as well. Also a little extra vibration under acceleration as well lately. Might be paranoia hearing there tho...
^^X2. Colder weather affects a corroded brake switch like a fiend. Then ANY issue with brake light malfunction will disengage the cruise control as per safety standard. So you may have a combination of both issues. You can try and "cheat" on the brake switch by climbing up under the brake pedal...
Had this happen on my old 2003 Tahoe. In my case it was one of the front ABS wheel sensors. Same exact issue you describe. Goes away when you shut off the traction control.
I called to cancel 6 months ago for the reason that my XM receiver cuts out a lot since I live in the sticks. I really didn't want to pay full price for the subscription. So they gave me 7 months for $26 and sent me this for free to wire in and use instead of the stock unit...
You don't have to entirely remove the seat cushion. I was able to swap mine removing only the rear cover and pushing the cushion forward out of the way. Not a big deal. Here's a good write up by @Aerocoupe with some additional info I added as well...
