    New belt, new tensioner assembly, new idler pulley and still getting the sound smdh. Gonna go ahead and throw another $48 and replace the AC belt and tensioner because why not at this point. Going in for oil change next week so maybe my mechanic can identify it if the AC belt and tensioner...

    Also wanted to mention that If you have ever had a bad stereo hook up and gotten that alternator whine sound where the pitch of the sound changes with RPMs that's kinda what I also hear in the driver seat at the same time im getting the noise from the engine bay... however no charging issues or...

    No worries man! the dressing was only like 3 bucks and it's something I would of tried anyway as I was checking options off the list... I truly appreciate the input from everyone, I got the stethoscope but it's been raining the last two days but it's my first thing on my to do list tomorrow...

    I'll give that a try with the tensioner seems pretty straightforward, however the sound does not seem to start until the engine gets warm before that it sounds normal. Would the tensioner be affected by cold morning weather as this just recently started happening as the temps started to drop...

    I noticed yesterday as well that when I first started the engine I did not hear the sound as I went out to spray water on the belt to test it, but after about 30 seconds of me revving it up to about 2K that the noise returned and spraying the water didn't change the sound.

    I checked with the AC off in the cab ( but not with the belt itself off ) and still got the sound, Tried spinning the tensioner and idler pulley by hand this morning as well as the alternator but didn't seem to me like they made any sounds and felt like they spun freely. I did have the water...

    Camshaft Position sensor in 6.2l issues

    I changed out my cam sensor about a year ago and even after that I still get the code thrown every once in a while. It shows up mostly when I'm driving at a low speed like in traffic and it will go off after about 5-10 miles of regular driving... Other than the stabilitrack warnings etc I have...
