A North to South Tahoe Build

Well it's been quite some time since I last posted. Fixed a lot of the little stuff like the front bumper, tow points, and leveled it out the best I could while still giving good up travel in the front. (Level in this case is a 2 inch squat. Not a fan of the look, but on flat ground you barely...

Finally got a front driveshaft to work with the new amount of flex that I gained. Nearly drooped out in the first picture, the second shows how flexy she can get. Absolutely loved getting out and wheeling it for the first time since completing the SAS in August. Transfer case slips out of 4low...

Alright Donnie. This is what I used to mount my 14" travel coilovers to the frame. They are 12" shock towers, made of 1/4" steel, that have been frenched into the stock frame. The holes that appear in the frame from the IFS have since been plated over to increase strength, I'll try and snag...

Blacking out the speaker grills was easy. Take a small flathead screwdriver, find the clips around the edge of the grille, put the screwdriver between the clip and the door, and push in gently. They should pop right out. I spraypainted them, one coat of primer, two of paint. Has held up for a...

Completed SAS Got sick and tired of not being able to keep up with the Jeep crowd offroad. IFS just wasn't going to cut it. Clearly wasn't going to sell my Tahoe, oh no, I only wheel in luxury. :jester: SO, this happened. Dana 60 HP out of an 02' SuperDuty. Three link under 14" Kings. 35"...

Also, my CB antennae had been stolen at some point last semester, so I finally got around to getting another one last week, and I decided to change the mounting location. It was previously on the Rear bumper, but I moved it so that it now comes out of the driver side vent appliques. Oh, and...

A North to South Tahoe Build

Well nearly seven months have gone by, if that doesn't call for an update, nothing does. It seems I never uploaded pictures of the new wheel/tire combo. So I'll have to post those. Brief aside, the new tires are obviously wider than stock, so they had some major rub issues, especially with the...

The past two weeks have consisted of new keys and new coils out back, Bilstein 5100's in front, 5160's in the rear, and as of this weekend: plasti dipped black hummer h3 rims (love them) and some 295/75/R16 General Grabber AT2's. Finally starting to feel like a Tahoe should. Pics to follow shortly.

A Super Late Update Well its been over two and a half months now.. so yeah, I'm a little late on updating. BUT, its been well worth it. I got myself into a little fender bender that ended with me cracking my left headlight and driving light. So y'all know what that means, break it, then buy new...

I know, pretty dick move typing all that out, and not putting any pictures attached to it at the end. Especially because I'm a big picture fan myself, words get boring. My apologies. However, to remedy that fact, I've got more than a few for today. Trying to just throw a variety of interior...
