Heater blows cold unless you crank it to 90! Any thoughts?

Thanks to all...so sorry for the delay...was away for work. I have a 2005 Yukon for those that asked, and its dual climate control. I will look at these procedures this weekend, and report back. Thanks again everyone! I truly appreciate it.

Heater blows cold unless you crank it to 90! Any thoughts?

Hey all....I noticed that my vents are blowing cold air, even if I have it set to say 75-80. I need to crank it all the way up to 90 in order for it to start blowing hot. Once I dial it down to say 75-80 again, it blows really cold air....as if the A/C is on (its not, I made sure). Also...if I...

Best option for replacing stock shocks

Thank you all for the information...I really appreciate it. :happy160: So...on Rock Auto, and on ShockWarehouse...it states that I need the Bilstein coils (199021) as well if installing the 4600's on the rear. Can I just get the Moog replacement ones...or do I need to get the Bilsteins to avoid...

Thanks for the update! I appreciate it. Should one do both shocks and coils at the same time if possible?

Awesome...thanks for letting me know. It seems that the Bilsteins win, but I was worried about the harsh ride with them. Thanks again for letting me know about the 4600's!

Best option for replacing stock shocks

Hey guys, I have 125,000 miles on my Yukon SLT, and need new shocks. What is the consensus about replacing the stock shocks on our trucks? Stay with the original manufacturer, or go aftermarket? It seems that Bilstein is a popular choice, but I don't want a stiff ride...looking for a smooth...

Low oil and low coolant only after 500 miles since my oil change. Need advice

Hey guys...I did an oil change about a month ago (maybe driven about 500 miles since then), and this past weekend got the check oil level message. I thought that was odd, as I just changed the oil, and put 6 quarts in. So...I checked, and was really low...right at the add. Then, I happened too...
