    try putting the transmission in neutral, then press the 2HI button, should hear the transfer case disengage. (my yukon is AWD and doesnt have the option of 2HI, but when pulling someone out of the ditch or mud, thats the only way it will come out of 4LO and back to AWD) if that doesnt work...
