I totally disagree with everything said. suspension doesn't die if it sits for a year. Nothing dry rots in a year. I could go on but why bother. It's enough to say I respectfully disagree. The place above has decently prices springs, but to ship 2 to Alberta, Canada is $250 for the cheapest shipping option. $350 for express. That is on top of the cost of the leafs. 99 Tahoe low beams always on, turn off when switch is in on position?
Engaging the hand brake should disable DRL. I engage the foot pedal about 1 "click" and it doesn't turn on the parking brake warning light or engage the parking brake but it does disable DRL and turn the DRL light on the cluster off. 1996 Tahoe gas gauge reads over full always
Sounds like the fuel level sending unit is toast. It's mounted on the outside of the fuel pump assembly. I'll see if I can upload a pic for you. I would trace the ignition wiring with a multimeter. If you have an aftermarket remote starter and something burned out inside that could be it. The remote starter box is fused. Is there an aftermarket remote starter? A slightly messed up remote starter or one that is going bad will show identical signs and symptoms to a bad ignition switch. Just a thought.- BladeMaker
