How to tailgate without killing the battery?
The dealership tested the battery and I had bad cells. I'm still concerned that the battery will be drained again from having the tailgate open for too long, I think it's crazy that an open door can kill the battery, I would expect all electronics to turn off after 10 min or so.- atrZ71

You are saying that the tailgate being left open is expected to draw additional power vs. when it is closed even if all screens and lights are off?- atrZ71

I have a 2021 Z71, everytime I set the ride height above normal it will not stay locked in either because I went over 50 mph or I restarted the engine.
