Excellent, I'll give this a try tomorrow, it's quite bitter outside right now. Did you do the sides of the windshield where the plastic molding is as well?
So I have this terrible noise as well, just started up yesterday. Does anyone know a fix for this? It sounds like it's coming from the top corners of the windshield, but it's louder on the drivers side.
I have a 2010 and it doesn't go through any oil, i've put about 4k on this oil so far and it's still at the top notch of the dipstick. It must be isolated to the 07's, but how can you guys go thousands of miles without checking the oil? Maybe i'm just neurotic...
Damn I just looked at it and i'm a GU4, 3.08 ratio... I guess i'll just have to add more power to make up for it, I don't feel like spending $2,000 for new gears. Thanks for the tip!
Thats some awful milage with these gas prices! I don't know what I do different but my mostly city driving yeilds me 16.5 hand calculated milage almost every tank. I'm not exactly light on the pedal all the time either.

Long tube headers are imo the only way to go if you have the option for both. Long tubes will yield more torque and a better torque curve. If your going to do it you might as well do it right. I have never used any shorties, but I had a 2000 Trans am I had mids on and switched them for long...
