The transmission started acting weird on me and was throwing a p0776 and p0700 code after I would be driving along and it would flare in between gears and then it would kick down into what I am guessing to be 2nd or 3rd gear and wouldn't shift...

    Is there a cheaper place to order the shift solenoids than going through the dealer? Does anyone out there make an upgraded solenoid? Any info would be appreciated.

    Did mine over the weekend. Passenger side is the hardest to do. Especially that back one. You have to go through the fenderwell to get to it the easiest. I just turned my wheels to the left as far as I could and got in underneath it through the wheel well. Have to have an extension and a wobble...

    Yea for sure. It's 3 coats of rattle can clear I put on it and it laid down smooth. Just the vht with no clear fades and looks light crap IMO.

    Thanks for that! I just got it rebuilt and the Damn thing still hesitates going into reverse. The shop called the dealership to see if there is a recall or anything on the trans and they said there is nothing. They said that the trans "learns" as you drive it. And that it would take a little bit...

    I kinda found that after after some research and then I seen your reply here to reassure that. Makes sense since it is indeed a 6 speed. Lol. Do you know of any upgrades that are possible with this transmission? More clutches or anything? I can't do the corvette servos with this trans can I?
