New iPhone, new Apple Carplay issues
I have the same issue. A lot of people with new iPhones 11 are having the same issue. This appears to be a software problem. If you go on reddit you will see some workarounds to increase success rate.- Alex carb

Child Car Seat Frustration in ‘17 Tahoe
I have twin 2 yo and a 5 year old so I feel you pain. I did the car seat dance with my yukon xl. Would definitely recommend getting a different car seat. 2015 + Yukon Interior fit and finish (what's your experience?)
