    Unfortunately most car manufacturers in their infinite wisdom moved the radiator cap to the coolant overflow tank which makes it difficult to do what you suggested. You can then I guess stick the hose in the open upper radiator fitting in place of the radiator cap fitting.

    FWIW, I have 11 years of data on my 2007 and 2010 Tahoes of calculated MPG versus the DIC readout. The average difference was that the DIC readout was typically about 0.6 MPG higher than calculated. This has been typical with all of the other GM products I've owned that have had a MPG readout.

    Broken rear window heating element

    Be sure to stretch the coiled cord before you connect it so that it is not under tension when the window is closed. Chevrolet started leaving the cord slack on the later models.
