    What cold weather milage are you seeing out there?

    12.5 recently. Not quite sure why. Its had recent everything. 5w30 syn oil. all fluids are syn. Must be a change in driving.

    I was told by the dealer years ago that a remote starter for my 06 Escalade was a bad idea. Makes no sense an expensive truck cannot have this option. Is that true? If not what are the best options. I'm reasonably technical, not afraid of a DIY.

    Swaybar end links in front are junk. Replacing front and rear w/energy suspension next week Front shocks are originals. Expensive RTD shocks that cost $300 each so they have not been replaced.     Just received the OEM bump stops. Same P/N, sealed bag, but the colors are different. Is that ok? Don't care so long as there's no issues like rubber degrading from sun exposure. Anyone else see this oddity?

    Yes, I see your point. I made the assumption he could get it going with a jump or charge after verifying the battery was good from AZ. If he could not, then we have a clue. If he could get it going, no 14v another clue. I guess my explaining stinks on this one...

    Rough Idle

    Have you replaced the transmission mount. If not I would. Its cheap, pretty simple to do. I was shocked how much vibration and clunky shifting that mount was causing on my truck.

    Thats good to know about the Monroe's. I put arnott AS-2700 w/out RTD in the back along with Arnott compressor. The compressor is great, very quiet . But I wish I didn't part with RTD.     Lifter ticking.

    That stabilizer is like maple syrup. Will thicken your oil, slowing the flow at startup, making it tick and rap like crazy till the engine gets enough oil. Get that prehistoric stuff outta there.

    Could be starter. But before that I would get the free battery test at autozone. If battery tests ok put it back and test the voltage running to verify the alternator is ok. Using a cheap multi-meter, test voltage at battery terminals with truck running (+-14v dc), truck turned off (+- 12v dc)...
