I need some insight on a motor swap

I am still wondering if the cost of a BlackBear 'mild tune' is really worth the expense, since driving a Yukon XL isn't anywhere near a Nissan 370Z. I completely agree with your post. I spent years as a performance driving instructor. I know how to enter-exit any turn, SMOOTHLY, even if it is a little aggressive. The sway from this Yukon is annoying. Especially if I must perform an 'accident evasion maneuver'..... I don't want to make any extra corrections because the truck is wobbly....

( About the hellwig sway bars.... They suggest using the 'farthest' hole mount first to feel the response, then adjust later if wanted. Out of the 3 holes, I am wondering if the middle hole is the choice?
depends on how you drive and what you are used too, I put mine on the highest notch right out of the box, however I have been driving with them for nearly 20 years and part maniac since I got my license at 15 1/2 lol
the notch's are something fairly new, the older bars didn't have notches
the rear links have always been adjustable though, so you can really snug it up if you want to

part of my problem is how I was raised we used to go out in the desert and race dune buggys and we had a 4wd drive shop and would go out with 4wd clubs in the mountains and do crazy shit, it just kind of carried over into daily life lol
painted lines and sidewalks are nothing
and stop signs? meh

The roads I typically drive on are flat and smooth. The right-turn corners are sometimes wavy, and upsets the 'sway' weight of the Yukon. Also, driving the turnpike, here in Florida, the need to avoid IDIOTS is often. I don't want to make a maneuver, then maneuver again. ( No time to "think" )

the sway bars will help with those quick manuevers, I had a leak in my air shocks that I picked up on right away because after about 5-10 minutes of driving making a quick lane change resulted in a "extra" bit of sway which I am pretty sensitive too. even a 5-10 psi drop I could feel.
I don't know how people drive around with blown shocks and don't even realize it, yet they pop up on the forum all the time. lol

In my 20's, driving Datsun 240Z's then SVT school Mustangs at the Bondurant School. ( Sonoma Raceway)..... Drifting was a requirement around the hilly course.

EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS BOOK....

I use the middle hole and have tried all 3 holes. I like the feel and have no need for the most aggressive. I really saw the benefits recently, of the Hellwig bars, front and rear.

I just turned right at a stop light. Accelerated aggressively, like I usually do. A car pulled out of a gas station drive, right in front of me. There was a passing/turn lane to the left. I could have slowed down but would not have been quick enough to avoid a crash. Plus there was a car right behind me, after the turn. Another car was moving in to the passing/turn lane coming against me. I quickly floored it and moved hard left and back right and went around the pull out car and was able to avoid the oncoming car. The Z71 stuck like glue and handled flawlessly. I got a bit of a w*o*o*d*y over all that.

I had a 240z many eons ago, always loved that thing. but I was smaller then now I don't think I could turn the steering wheel, maybe if I remounted the seat back
