I’m getting ready to install my 40k max transmission cooler. I can’t figure out what I need to buy as far as hardline and compression fittings goes.

I have 2 of these to adapter the cooler to the factory fittings. They are the same thing just listing both part numbers for other people to refer to.

The thread I found said all I need is those 2 fittings some hardline to make an extension and 2 compression fittings.

I know it’s 3/8” but what kind of hardline? stainless steel, brass, and what kind of compression fittings? All I can find is brake line and fuel line? I want to make it look factory with hardline and fittings.

Do you have the factory cooler?

If so I just used two of the above fittings and one compression fitting. On the left line I cut it and rotated it 180 degrees so it will go right into the trucool port. 9f4bcf98751d8eb03bbc3a52357d65d8.jpg

These are the fittings I used So it’s one of the left fitting and two of the right fittings.

I do have the factory cooler, I got 2 of the ones on the right, just didn’t know what the option were for the one on the left. Thanks for posting, now I have a part number to go off of.

Also for anyone who finds this thread looking for the same info I found on a Zinc 3/8” fuel line/transmission cooler tubing kit, so looks like any Zinc coated double wall copperized tubing will do the trick.
Nice looking kit, comes with tube bender, cutter, and flare tool. Not sure if that’s a good price haven’t done anymore searching at this moment. Going to look more later today.

Planning on doing it like this, extend the drive side line and rotate the passenger side line. I will modify the passenger side line if need be since my main goal is to center the cooler in the grille. Looks like I need 3 unions, some 3/8” hardline, and the 2 adapters.
