Does anybody make a total kit? Everything from fans to hookups for the ECM to run fans.

Flex-a-lite makes a e-fan setup it sells for around $500 (might need a bigger radiator and alternator) it looks like you don’t need to screw around with the PCM but for less then that you can get an OEM e-fan harness and fans, get the fans turned on in your PCM and be good to go

depends on how much you want to spend. there is direct drop in setups ranging just north of 1000 bucks. outside of that there are basic kits that come with the thermostat that engages a relay that kicks the fans on for universal kits. i also think there is a write up somewhere on the forums here about a kit you can put together yourself from a local pick a part.

if you do find a full kit, you also need to re program the pcm so the fans work.

i did aftermarket fans on my 03 back in the day, i used a thermostatic probe in the rad fins to control the fans.

I think I might go this route. I have all the oem parts, but I haven't found anyone local that can program my pcm for the fans. Would it be possible to hook the aftermarket thermostatic switch to the oem wiring and the fans?

that im not sure. i went full aftermarket, used a fog light kit and another relay. then used the switch to turn them off manually if need be. master on off if you will.

this is all i can find for pics. i know i have more of the relays and termal temp thing. i ditched the whole shroud too, (greasing the front end became 1000 X easier too.) temps were a degree cooler vs the clutch fan, and the ac was never colder. that was the other thing. had to run a wire to the green ac wire on its plug at the compressor to command the fans on when the ac was on.

So the green ac wire to a fan wire or to a relay? I've never used relays wiring things. Never had to tho--maybe lol.

that wire went to the thermal temp probe box, it also had a dial on it to set what temp the fans came on.

the thermostat i had burnt up a year later, ended up running them on the switch only for the next 5 years. as long as they are on the ac still works as it should. engine still ran at 210. id turn em off in winter for its warm up, got heat faster with no fans, once moving you dont really even need em. i played the on off game.

I def want to do that. My gf drives it mostly, and I know she'd forget to turn them on.
