Sorry for the delay in getting back to you! We would need the truck for at least a day. If you are able to leave it longer that would be preferable, but we can work with anybody on scheduling. We would be test-fitting our radiator into the truck as well as doing some 3D scanning and gathering measurements. Volunteers will be compensated with a production version of the radiator at the end of development.

Thanks!

How is your radiator different from the OEM?

We're just beginning development so I can't say what specifically will be different. However, with all of our radiators, we use fully welded aluminum end-tanks for added strength and durability. We also look for any way to increase cooling capabilities including using a more efficient core, and we look to solve any recurring issues with the stock radiator.

Thanks,

-Steve

Are there any issues with the stock radiator in the 17s?

Does the truck have to be stock? I’m in CT like 3 hours away.

We usually prefer stock but modifications shouldn't be a problem. What all is done to the truck? 3 hours is a bit far as we'd probably need the truck for a few days, but we might be able to work something out.

I'm not sure if the 2017's were affected, but there is a TSB for short-cycling thermostats causing tube failures due to excessive thermal cycling. That thermostat has been superseded, but vehicles who's thermostats were changed without a new radiator may still have issues from the fatigued tubes.

Thanks!
