i recently had the fast blink on the right side rear.. was a brake light. I decided to just change the tails to some LED units off ebay. I out them in just now and I now have both side flast blinking! I checked ALL functions all around multiple times and everything lights as it should. I did notice, when I switch the headlights on , the left then goes to the customary blink frequency, but the passenger side still has the fast blink. I have aftermarket replacement headlights with standard bulbs , but the front signals are LED. again , they all function. could this be headlight switch? or stalk? I don't know

yes, they came with the resistor units. everything was basically plug - n play. I keep checking all the functions and I cant see any lights not working , so do I just have to put up with the fast blink !?

I'm pretty sure your Suburban has the same relay setup for the flashers. Find that relay and modify it as such:

would that relay fix affect the reverse lights? I just noticed I don't have backup light function on these new led tails

Personally i used the led flasher from super bright leds. 3 second install to replace stock relay under dash. That way it will hyper flash when a bulb does goes out or if the tails fail. Just my thought

Not at all. Totally separate circuit.

Have a test light or volt/ohm meter? Turn the key on (don't have to start the engine), put it in reverse and check power voltage at the plug.

does it just plug into the relay spot? I don't want to hack into my wire harness
