Nothing in the computer. No codes related to the suspension. Nothing.

I believe in the other thread there was a TSB mentioned that may help you out.

had the same thing happen to my escalade, it was strapped down very tight on a car carrier(was there when it arrived) and key was turned on while cinched down, killed both struts as the electronic was stuck in ultra firm and like you said undrivable. I talked to a friend at GM and was told sometimes some stick if they hang on a lift for a couple of days, or can be killed as mine were being strapped down, was yours towed ?

If you havebthem replace the shocks. Definitely ask for the parts back. Then I would take them to the dealer and have them inspected to see if this shop is screwing with you or not about them being blown.
Something sounds fishy.

It was towed but I don’t recall it being strapped down.

It may have been on a lift for a bit but I would not expect it to make the shocks leak.

So I’m not able to get the parts. Plus the shop has had the vehicle for other stuff and have been taking care of me. They drove it from Maine to deliver it to me in RI. It took some work but GMC is covering 75% of the cost to replace the shocks.

Gotcha.

I hate these magnetic ride shocks on the Denali. I drove a caddi and what ever setting they had it set drove so much smoother even with the bigger rims.

I specifically ordered my Denali with 20's because the Denali intest drive had the 22's and it was a crappy ride. I thought it was heavy wheels and stiff thin sidewalls. Turns out it's crappy suspension settings.

I'm searching for a set of factory 18 inch take offs now.

Can they be replaced with regular shocks and the system "tricked" like with a GMT900? You could sell the new OEM replacement shocks to someone else that has blown theirs to more than cover the cost of the new regular shocks.

On a GMT900, the shocks can be replaced with regular ones and resistors of a certain value (nothing uncommon or expensive) can be used on the wires that originally plugged into the magnetic shocks so that the suspension computer thinks all is well. If this can't be done on yours, maybe the adjusting shock feature can be turned off in the programming by the dealer after you or they install normal shocks?
