Hi all, I'm changing the trans fluid and filter in my 2007 yukon denali (100,000 miles) I was wondering if it is a good idea to add the Lucas trans additive while I'm changing it? Thank you

No, GM recommends using 100% Dexron VI. Additives apparently might cause issues.

P.S. I got enough clearance under the Y pipe by placing a 2"x4" above the exhaust, unbolting the transmission, and jacking up the back part of the transmission. This increased clearance between the transmission and the exhaust. The exhaust remained in place but the transmission rose. I then extracted the pan without any cursing.

On a 13 tahoe, I did mine,on hoist, dropped the Y pipe .That was the easiest least messy way. Trans took 4 litres plus with pan off and filter change.Did the transfer case as it has a drain plug.
Changed both differentials lubes at the same time.
