yeah they are pricey. Dash vents have a little damage, going to look over them over the weekend. Talked to a friend about the radio and got lucky with one pioneer aftermarket that he took off his Avalanche when he sold it.

Chicago area. They turned down 5% and covered health care increases.

Don't like the book rates offered for jobs. (One version is that they were able to beat the books for over 50% for years and made out well, now they just break even. )

Or do a 701 Strike search if you want more details/views.

Yup. They been sitting in their lawn chairs under umbrellas with coffee and donuts all on their phones every time I drive by one. Morons.

Got my recall done today, dropped it off yesterday, and picked it up after work. Plus they gave me a ride home and picked me back up.

They changed the fan shroud and the rt side fan motor

shroud pn #84302501
motor kit pn# 20903477
a couple of clips, sleeve and connector

Looks like it only pays the tech 1.5 hours

I noticed yesterday when I was dropping it off, that there was a black PPV in for the same thing.

Thank you for the update. I just made my appt for next week.

I dont think my dealership loves me enough to come pick me up, LOL.

How long did it take? Debating if I should take the day off work or just wait at the dealership until its done.

It isn't worth taking the day off unless you need a Me Day!, I dropped mine off the afternoon before and I rode my Harley to work. It is most likely cheaper to rent a car than to loose a days pay or waste a vacation day. The service advisor said that they needed it for three hours. keep us posted on how yours comes out.

Heres the update... made an appointment. Asked them to be sure the parts would be ready before I came in, and to call me otherwise...

The day came and I brought my vehicle in. Sat there for 2 hours, then the service advisor came and told me they had no parts. Soo... I wasted half a day. Will have to reschedule unfortunately.

Anyone else looking to get the recall done, follow up with your dealer before showing up.
