So the grandparents were going to trade this in and asked if we wanted an opportunity to buy it. I told my wife we didn't need it knowing it has problems. But ended up with a 4th. Overall clean truck. It's an 09 4x4 with 105k.

So it has issues....
Burns oil and dealership said it needed rings. I talked to a buddy who works at a different dealer. He is going to check the valve cover service bulletin and make sure it's not that. If it does need rebuilt I will take it to a local engine builder who tuned my Denali. Small cam, DOD delete and stall.

The bumper is pretty beat up. I have been looking for a used one that I can have painted and swap out.

Not sure what wheels and tires
Factory 22s?
No black

Leveling kit
Tint
Navigation
Backup cam
AMP steps
Escalade rear lights
Maybe color matched door handles???
Debadge and demold
Color matched mirror caps which I have but need painted.

Need to sell the pewter Tahoe to pay for all this crap!

AND..... my favorite part about this is the wife said we get to keep the black one!!! That's a whole different project! Plan on replacing the carpet and clean it up really well. It will be getting PDR and I will try my first at paint correction.

Looks good! You can pick up a prepainted bumper on fleabay, and those tires look pretty worn on those 22s - 20" takeoffs are more common, and will ride smoother (autoride shocks are probably gonna be kaput soon so you may look to convert). Not sure ive seen tricoat handles. Fun to have a new project!

I've looked on eBay but not real hard. Quite a few with damage. Need to dig a little harder. I'm thinking I want to stay with 22s unless I go with a off road style wheel. The auto ride compressor runs quite often and wondered when it would start having issues. I'm not sure if I've seen the handles myself. Just not a huge fan of too much chrome. Even though my Denali has a ton of chrome.
