drive a lot of winding country roads at night...I have to replace the housings because the reflective material on one has disintegrated so I thought I would look at using the LED option as an alternative

Mine work great! Drove from New York to Florida back in February, my wife drove a couple of hours early evening each way. She was amazed at how bright the 36 watt spotlights were that I was using for the driving lights.

Just make sure you get the spotlights, I believe they are a 30 degrees spread, versus the flood lights that are a 60-degree beam pattern. Mine are angled down low enough so that the upper cut off is actually lower than where my low beams are. I've had a cop check them out, he said that they didn't bother him as he was across the opposite side of an intersection.

What headlights do you have in that truck?

i have seen guys get the morimoto ( spelling? ) they look good. I would see what Vanquish has, i have there high and low beams, 100% happy with them.

those would be great under the rear bumper but what I want is something that comes close to the size and shape of the factory fog light...
