2005 Tahoe Ls, 6 inch RCD lift with Bilstein shocks, 20x10 -24 offset with Toyo 35x12.50 20's

Lookin real good brother, ridin high! I just recently upgraded my 6in RC lift with the NTD brackets. The torsion bars hangin below the frame, I couldn't take it anymore lol. Especially with as much of the frame showing with the 3in body lift to make room for the 37/13.50's

I was going to order the Z71 rear springs and front keys to give it another inch or so after I put on the Nfab side steps that have been sitting in my garage for a month. Yours looks awesome, but RCD lifts don't have anything to raise the torsion bars, so I'm S.O.L.

I was going to order the Z71 rear springs and front keys to give it another inch or so after I put on the Nfab side steps that have been sitting in my garage for a month. Yours looks awesome, but RCD lifts don't have anything to raise the torsion bars, so I'm S.O.L.

Order the brackets from RC and the bracket sleeves! It's all you need and they'll work with any other suspension lift because the bracket literally sits on top of your current LCA to raise the torsion bar hole to the factory location. It was approx 150 bucks and I had them in two days.

All you have to do is remove the torsion bars, put the new brackets on the LCA's with the sleeves that go in the original torsion bar holes, remove the cross member brackets that drop it (for the rear of torsion bars/keys) and reinstall it in the factory location. Reinstall the torsion bars.

I know, I know, I should've painted the machines surfaces before I installed them. I'll get around to it one day. lol.

Your lift should've included new springs to compensate for the 6in lift. Getting z71 springs would be steps backwards. Mine is a z71 and i couldn't use those springs with the 6in lift. They would've been too short.

I'll definitely look into it, thanks for the info! I don't really mind the torsion bars, since i sanded them down and painted them.

Mine didn't, they came with spacers, that's why I was going to get the springs. Look up the RCD kit and you'll see.

Yeah I didn't mind them before I added the 3in body lift but after that they really stuck out like a sore thumb. At least you now know the option is there lol.
I get now why you would want to get the z71 springs! I didn't realize they just added spacers! Makes a lot more sense now. Before getting the z71 springs, call around and see if lift companies will sell you longer springs because you might be able to get them cheaper that way and lose the spacers? Or add to the spacers still? Anyways your hoe looks great too hope to see it around more on TYF!
