I have a 2000 tahoe limited that i bought with 20 in rims that dont let me turn well. I was wondering if buying some 15x10 in wheels would work well with my tahoe. Are they too small?

Is your Tahoe the old body style or NBS? Old body style being like the 98 tahoe. If so, 15" wheels will work if the back spacing is correct, if it is the NBS, I am not sure if they will fit.

Yes it's the 98 body style but would the tires be too small for an suv?

I had 15X9 on my Suburban with 255/70/15. They are the same height as factory, just a little wider. Factory size is 15X8 with 235/75/15.

While I 100% agree that the 255/70/15 is about the same size as the factory tire (235/75/15), the factory wheel size on the OBS 2WD is 15x7...
That said, the 2000 Limited came with 16x7.5 factory wheels.

As long as you don't have drop spindles installed, you can run the 15x10 wheels on the OBS. If you have drop spindles, you'll have to trim the LCA so you can turn. Also, you're going to limit some of your tire options by going that wide (275/60, 295/50 on the street side, and 33"+ with some lift on the AT/MT side).

As far as being too small, the street tire sizes will not fill up your wheel wells top to bottom, but will certainly give you plenty of meat on the street. The larger AT/MT tire sizes will cause you to run a lift on your vehicle.
