I'm lucky, as I drove less than 20 minutes from my house for my in-person tune. Good clean living... :)

Knowing what I do now, though, I would have driven three hours each way for the same result.

Kick-ass mod.

Is the somerset NJ meet happening? It`s only about an hour away from our area and easy to get to. I got a 91 octane tune first at an albany ny meet and went for the 93 retune in somerset.
Think id rather that then going up to mass

If they still hold it at the same place it`s at a mall that`s right off the highway and just far enough away to enjoy the tune on your way back home. Going to mass is a little out of the way but still worth it if was the only option.

I went with the Auto-Cal route. Installed the 89 oct. tune last week and it is like night and day. They also sent me the 91oct tune if I decide to run the better fuel.
For me getting rid of the AFM was the best thing for the vehicle. It is much more pleasurable to drive. Much more responsive and the shifts are fast and smooth. First tank after the tune 18mpg.

Very pleased with BBP

In your opinion, does the 93 octane tune really give enough "seat of the pants" feel to warrant the price difference between 91 and 93 octane?

87 Octane here in Utica/Rome is $2.37, 89 is $2.57, 91 octane non-ethanol is $2.82, and you're lucky if you can even find a 93 octane station around.

Now, if BB could do a tune for 104 octane, there IS one station around here that has race gas at the pump....:signs6::waytogo:

They don't have a 93 octane tune, only 91+ for 91 octane minimum.

I did the in person tune as well. Drove 6 hours round trip, and a stated before, well worth it!

I drove over 5 hours to get my truck tuned.
Ok, well not really. I drove 5 hours away to New Orleans for something else, but I made sure to get my truck tuned also since the tune meet was the same weekend that I was gonna be there. But I did drive 3 hours each way to Fort Worth to get a retune about 2 years or so after my initial tune.

And to answer the question, I didn`t really notice much of a difference between the two but for a few dollars extra every fill up i figured what the hell.
