I keep seeing 2 different kinds of lifts. Whats the difference as far as performance? I want to level out my tahoe, thinking of possbly going with a 1.5" front or a 2" front, I don't want a rear sag, I simply want it level. What are your thoughts and/pr pictures?

You can do either but lower is easier to install. Can't go over 2" of lower lift without hitting CV. Note the lower spacer is half the lift height so 2" lift is 1" spacer.

Go CCM 2.5/1. It goes on top of the strut though for the front and under the spring in the rear. Looks like this.

So when they say 1.5" it is really 3"? I am a bit confused. Or do you mean both are used to make 2" lift

That looks good. I believe I am running 275/55/20 right now. Would that size tire still look ok or do I need to go a size bigger. This is my first truck with 20" rims. I am used to the old 285/75/16 wheels

If they say it's a 1.5" lower lift then it's 3/4" spacer. Upper spacer are true lift to thickness, example 2" lift is 2" spacer. Just don't get over a 2" lift lower spacer and you will be fine.

Thank you. So. What is the best route to go for the truck. Upper or lower?

In the pic, the tires are 275/55/20's. I will likely go 275/60/20's next time.

If you're asking for performance you will not get any with just spacers other than some lift and little extra ground clearance. But a few inches will not make much of a difference. If you want performance that makes a different you need to look into full suspension lifts with at least 4" or coil overs up front for extra travel, lift, and better handling.
