Been reading out here and talked to a couple of shops. My LT has 22z and the HD Towing Kit with the air bag thingy in the back. Need to confirm, but don't think it has the magnetic ride control and off the top of my head 285/55 tires..... So:

How do folks decide how much to level? Before after photos out here suggest that 2 to 2.5" is about right.

Some kits for the front leveling adjust at the top and bottom (Suspension Maxx) while others only adjust at the top (ProComp) so is there a significant difference? Any risk one way or the other to the CV joint / shaft?

Any particular brands to stay away from or pursue?

While they are at it I'm thinking of upgrading rotors and pads up front only, for now, since I tow a decent sized boat regularly.

Feedback on EBC Stage 3 or PowerStop for the rotors and pad kits?

Does $250 for both in labor seem reasonable and is an alignment 100% necessary after leveling?

Rough country makes a kit to level the front for $50. IIRC, it is a 1" increase in the front.

Bilstein 5100 shocks all around in mine. The front are ride height adjustable up to 2.5". I have mine set at 2.5". They do not compromise the suspension or ride at all like other leveling kits and is relatively cheap....

What's the part number to the front Bilsteins you have?

No difference in top or bottom spacers except bottom is easier to install but can't go over 2" or it will contact the cv.

Bilsteins look up on a few websites such as shock warehouse or bilstein for part numbers.

Interested in the Bilstiens adjustable part numbers, they show not to make them on the site for 2015+. I know a buddy has them on a Silverado so I would guess not much difference.

I find the 2" to 2.5" are very level, bordering on making the front a little high at times. I didn't want that, so I went with the 1.5". I really like the idea of the Bilstiens and being able to dial in exactly the height you want. I'll probably go that route when I need shocks but it's hard to beat the price of the spacers when the shocks aren't worn out.

Which leveling kit did you use & do you have any side pics? Planning on leveling mine soon, trying to decide between the 1.5" or the 2".

I'll see if i can get any side pics on a level spot. I have the Suspension Maxx 1.5". I also have the Max trailering pkg with the rear load leveling. You can get the 2" spacers cheaper than the 1.5" so that sort of sucks, but I knew I never wanted the front higher than the rear.

And for me the alignment was required after the spacers.

Thanks for the pic and info! I agree, I don't want the front higher than the rear either. Nice ride btw!
