I understand the updgrades with fogs and hi beams but what are you gaining switching out the low beam with 5500k outside of color temp? Doesn't the new D3s replacement technically provide less usable light when comparing oem 4300k bulbs?

Nop the GM osram are very much more less brighter

Not sure what you mean by GM much less brighter? The 5500k matches LED lights but I don't see how it provides more usable light compared to the oem osram 4300k.

Reason why i switch from OEM 4300/4600 to 5500k is to better match led runing lights. I just dont like yellow. And its not like you gonna lose tons of light, 3400 lm in 5500k vs 3500 lm in 4300k

I totally get it...I just didn't understand Soulraper stating that they are much brighter and huge upgrade when they technically don't provide anymore light (actually slightly less usable compared to stock bulbs.) The color match does look good...thanks for all the detailed pics.

What's the easiest way to access the highbeam bulb, from above the engine compartment or underneath from the wheelwells?
