New grill. Not sure how I feel about it yet. My first sergeant was getting rid of his silverado and did a straight swap for my stock.

What do you guys think? Should I keep it? I'm thinking paint matched frame with black mesh and a paint matched bow tie would make it look way better

Positive note... it was free

I'd color match the whole thing and put a black bow tie on it. I think the black mesh will still be too much black since the mesh is so big.

I think that would look good but I was avoiding painting the mesh. Prep would be so tedious. That's why I was thinking paint matched frame and bow tie or @Tonyrodz the billet Idea isn't bad

Black mesh and color matched bowtie. Then color match the bumpers.
Or else I would say chrome mesh would look best but that would be alot of work.
Color matched mesh would be a ton of work.

Color matching the mesh wouldn't be too bad. Just scuff it up really well with some Scotch brite and maybe use some adhesion promotor.

That's what I was thinking especially since that's a painted grill. Mine was the fake chrome and it had to be sanded real good.

Paint to match.

Edit: didn't have time last night to give a better story for painting to match. I have seen the grills on eBay and one local guy has one painted to match. I think it looks different in a good way. No one else has it and it matches the truck nicely. I agree with the masses , prep it your self and paint it. It's not as bad as you think. Scotch brite pads some reducer to clean off the wax and road grime and some paint places can mix your paint into airisole cans. I am subbed.
