Hey all. Just ordered 4 1.25" Wheel Spacers for my 2003 Tahoe LT 4x4. I will put up some pix when I install the wheels and tires. Hopefully Sunday. I will keep you posted.

I need to cut the studs and haven't found an auto body shop that will cut them. My friend might do it so I will let you guys know. I have the worst of luck right now and I have no faith in this s*** anymore.

Why do you need to cut them? Are you cutting all the way off or just partial? If your gonna cut them, thread a nut on all the way down before you cut so after you cut you back off nut and clean your threads up at the end.

We are only going to cut them so they are flush with the spacer 1.25 inch. thick they stick out just a wee bit prevent the wheels from going on flush. Going to take a lot longer than I though.

Not in the mood to cut the studs. I don't have the time and no shops by me will do it. Don't want to pay for labor. I am still tossing the idea in the air.

So I ordered 6mm spacer plates and they arrive and one of them is warped. Now I wait even longer

surprised a shop wouldnt cut the studs. cut off wheel it will take no time at all. sorry for ur bad luck

So after a month of trying to get a replacement for the bent 6mm plate we finally got fed up and my friend's father flattened it out with a forklift and a mallet. I don't know how he did it but he did. I will now be able to see the wheels on and give my truck a whole new look. If the weather warms up. Hopefully soon I can get some pictures up and have a good turn of events.

The 6mm plates fixed the problem in the front and they grind in the back. Thursday my buddy will come back with a grinder to finish the job, should have pix up soon, driving round with two sets of rims

so for those that actually have been following this or have seen it. i am back to square one and my friend is gonna cut the studs. i hate this sh*t

Shouldnt be much of a problem cutting the studs off. I'd use 2 nuts, put them on and lock them together on the right spot. (1.25" long) Then using a cut off wheel, cut flush with the outer nut, then unscrew the nuts and move to the next one. Oh, almost forgot. I'd use blue loc-tite on the studs when you put the spacer on.

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more random photos of the wheel areas and the rest of the truck as well to see how it looks.

I have no idea what they are I have 1.25 Spacer adapters on. We got them in a junk yard and my buddy had them for a few years on his Nissan Frontier.
I am looking for a new pair when the tires go bad so I can put my BF All Terrains back on. I hope that link helps. Cause I needed modification to actually get them on. They don't balance correctly. They are in the 15" range somewhere with the 6 - 139 mm or 6x5.5 I believe.
As for the tires they are General Grabbers P265/75 R15

when you say 6mm plate what do you mean? where did you order it? Waiting for my 1,25" spacers to come in, just putting them on the front to even my track width. Figuring ill have the same problem with them not being flush and like you I don't want to cut my studs. Luckily im just putting on front spacers.
