I'm fairly new to the Tahoe thing and I bought a 96 Tahoe recently. I had some tires installed (stock size all-season highway) and the guys from the shop told me that the Tahoe had airbags on the rear. I'd like to know some more about this (pressures, loads, uses, etc).

96 Chevy Tahoe 2DR 4x4
Overhauled Vortec 5700 @261K. (done by myself)
Stock wheels and tires. (soon to change)

yup, what he said. Bags come in various sizes I think. So capacity will differ. Does the truck have on board air or do you need to air them up each time manually?

They need to be aired up everytime they need to be used. Pics will be up as soon as i can physically get to it. I'm currently pulling long shifts (72-120hr shifts) at work. By the way I work for an ambulance company, so that explains the crappy hours
