I really don't like the stock wheels on my 2011 Yukon XL (the five spokes don't really mesh with the 8 lugs IMHO) and was thinking about swapping in just some stock H2 wheels when I need to get new tires. I'd probably have them powdercoated black.

Anyone know if it's a direct fit or of the backspacing is different?

Well, other than the fact that your Yuk is 6 bolt and Hummer rims are 8, it's a direct fit. :)

yes H2 wheels are a direct fit to the 3/4=ton burbs. the tires=not so much.

:Good or Bad:

I would rock those factory rims in a heartbeat, not on a truck but a 15 passenger van....

What size are the tires?

I was planning on going with at least a 285/75-17 in a radial super swamped/interco but ill probably have to lift the front at least level with the back.

Nothing yet. I'm probably going to wear the stock tires down first before I get serious about scouring craigslist for H2 rims.

I also have a 3/4ton and was thinking of installing some H2 wheels, I think 285 or even 305's would fit and barley rub on full lock on H2's.

Would love to see a picture of this setup!

I think I am going to see what 285's look like on the same stock wheels you have first before making the wheel swap. The H2 polished/machined wheels would look great though!

Tons of '07-'10 2500 GM trucks running this setup, same frame and suspension clearance and other then a rub at fill lock no problems, you will have to crank the bars all the way but that isn't saying much as turned up all the way is only about 8-9 turns so not a lot of adjustment anyways.

I am looking into doing this with my '10 2500 xl. The main difference is the offset on the stockwheels is +29 and the h2 offset is +18.

Wow. It looks great. What is even more impressive is you coming back after all these years and posting pics. That is next level!!
