After reading the engine cleaning thread I am very motivated to get to work cleaning my engnine... However I want to know exactly what i should cover and be careful of. I don't want any codes to come up after my engine looks great. Advice on what wires/parts/areas to cover up or watch out for would be great! Thanks for the help!!

maybe cover your alternator or if ypou have an exposed air filter. but you cant cover every part of your engine. just dont soak the thing completely. all youll need is a quick blast of water to rinse off the dirt n clear. and blow all the water off. either with compressed air or a leaf blower

Thanks for the advice. I need to figure out what wires to watch out for as well as the battery area.
