Classy avvy, Felix. Very nice! Are you going to paint the plastic in the bed?

Serge, I think those are a little too subtle.:hahano:They just don't scream out "look at me, look at me, I need attention".

Thanks Jae! I'm essentially trying to rebuild my Tahoe but instead an Avy and in black :Handshake:

Yes I want to paint the side panels BADLY. Still researching the best way to do this. I am still trying to find out if the Escalade EXT equivalent has them painted or if it is a fiberglass overlay that sits on top of the unpainted black plastic textured pieces....

I went with paint. They tried vinyl first but said you could see the edge's of the gold bow tie so they said it'd look way better painted... so I said F it and got em both painted...

How much did they charge you to paint them? Did you remove them from the truck?

They charged me 40-50 total to do the front and rear bow ties.

I answered above. They first did vinyl but since you could see the edges still they took it off and painted both of them. 20-25 per bowtie if I remember correctly.

I think he's asking if you removed the bowties from the truck to paint them...

Ohhhh. I have no idea since I just dropped the truck off at the shop and picked it back up later that day.
