Anyone have Android aftermarket radio in there car?

Wondering if anyone has an aftermarket OEM replacement unit that is currently running of android for their car...I have first seen these for BMW but have heard that their is an Android OS headunit now available?

aftermarket head units?

Does anyone have an aftermarket head unit they could possibly give a brief review...I was looking into Pioneer until a friend of mine told me that they now have an Android OS running aftermarket head unit... link below

Not sure how stable the OS would be...does anyone have something similiar?

Looking at the bigger name companies but I do like this one. My guess is you would need to be able to turn your phone or something into a mobile hotspot to get the full function out of this radio unless you are able to add data from your provider to this.

yeah they actually had two models one running off basic Windows CE and the other Android..

I am told I can connect via Wi-Fi or if I have a 3g wifi modem? Hmm....

Im assuming if I have unlimited data why not stream from my phone?

Anyways they are currently out of stock so gives me more time to shop and look around

The soon to be lack of unlimited data and no mobile hotspot is what keeps me from one of these units.

Yeah from what I have found on forums is only for their Toyota products such as prius or tacoma...Reviews were pretty good...

Still not sure if I want to pay price difference between windows CE and Android...service isn't obviously free...

I am going to look around a little more...

basically the main reason i want to upgrade is so I can hve navigation on a larger screen rather than my phone...bluetooth is a must. everything else is nice but I guess I can do without it....

I mean radio does have all basic features as name brand ? is what I am asking...

If you want a double din with nav Kenwood makes an awesome unit. Garmin GPS ftw!!
