Welcome to the forums for starters. :welcome: Secondly that looks good! A lot of people here have been interested in doing such a mod. I assume it's yours? I'm sure a lot of people would be stoked if you would tell them what all you included to do this.

thanks for the warm welcome. for future plans i want to start with tinting the headlights/taillights, drop it, and retune the pc. i have a set of 22" rims that are pitted, and want to sandblast and powder coat black, but im still undecided how they will look black on the truck because there is alot of chrome on it. any other input would be appreciated.

To get rid of the chrome, remove the side moldings, and get a roll pan or a denali rear bumper, then colormatch your grill shell and bumper, put in an aftermarket chrome grill and paint your GMC logo Black, Tint your windows and tails black and PC your rims black..........

At least thats what I'd do....:Handshake:

i have one waiting to be put on mine. You need to cut factory front bumper mounts (tips on frame) and weld the 03-06 gmc sierra front bumper frame tips to Yukon frame then it mounts up! fenders, hood, and lights fit sierra front as well as yukon front. I'll post pics as soon as it gets put on!

The replacement frame horns bolt on. You need to drill 2 holes and the third one is already there.

No problem.

How long until it's finished? I can't wait to see it. I had thought about doing it to mine but I got a good deal on my Silverado front cap.

Hopefully sometime the month of April. The whole sierra clip is painted (color matched) and I got my smith caps in from stylintrucks and I will paint that and put everything on at the same time

04 yukon to 06 sierra front clip

I have a 04 yukon have been wanting to do this conversion for a few years have had the grill, bumper, and valance laying around for some time now and im finally ready to start the install. I was just reading this thread and had a few questions for some of you that are experienced with this mod. So I see the sierra bumper will NOT bolt up directly to my factory frame horns. how did you guys go about doing this? do i just go to junk yard and try to find a sierra frame with straight frame horns and cut them off and weld them onto my yukon? I did something similar to this with an s10 I had and I put a toyota bumper conversion on it. An aftermarket company made brackets you could weld on to s10 frame and then the yota bumper could be directly bolted but I did not like these mounts because they were really flimsy therefore i went with cutting some toyota frame horns off an old truck at the junk yard and welding them to my s10 frame. sorry if this is off topic just trying to get a clear picture of how im going to go about doing this before I start. any help would be greatly appreciated
