My new Bosch Alternator! I'm a big fan of Bosch, they make a quality product.

I also have a Goodyear Gatorback on order.

I've always had great luck with Bosch products. How many amps is that baby kicking out?

Yeah whats the amps? It would be nice to have 250Amp Alt. Does Bosch make one?

OEM Stock replacement @ 105 Amps. I don't need anything else, my truck is pretty stock outside of the K&N and Flowmaster.

Only Bosch product I've used is their wiper blades but I gotta say I'm impressed. Had 'em for about a year and they still don't streak.

What's everyone else running? According to my RPO codes I have a 145 amp in mine.

Situational update:

I attempted to install the Bosch myself, but it didn't fit correctly so I figured I screwed the pouch since this was my first alternator install. I took down to my mechanic and he couldn't install the Bosch either. The factor wholes didn't line line up with the one on the motor.

I called Parts Train and bitched cause the advertise that Bosch as a direct OEM replacement part that is suppose to bolt right up. To their credit, they offered to refund the money and refund all shipping costs.

My mechanic also drives a 1998 Chevy Truck, so I asked him what alternator he uses. My mechanic said he replaced his with a 145amp AutoLite so I had him put one in mine. I opted for a brand new AutoLite instead of a remanufactured one.
