I use an MF towel to dry them, but never really thought that would get them very clean.

Thats a heck of a name for a sponge/towell! I use microfiber towel or an old T-shirt, whichever is closest to my truck that afternoon, and some elbow grease. Only "cleaner" Ive ever used is the overspray from tire shine.

honestly, though, i like the look of spraying some dilluted PBs bug squash on the wheels and then washing with SnS'.

I use a tire brush and Meguiars extreme tire shine on the tires. On the chrome I use Meguiars mag polish and a terry cloth, or just a terry cloth.

I've also used wheel cleaning wipes in the past, but always had to go back over it with a cloth because the wipe does not absorb anything, it actually just moves the dirt and brake dust all around.

i wash em when i wash my truck with a sponge that has little dangely things on them... i bought the sponge for my truck and its a total peice of shit, but works nice on the wheels. dry them with a microfiber cloth and shine the tire up with good old armor all
once every couple months however i break out the mothers metal polish and get in there with a few towels, a few beers, and a lot of time (about 45 minutes to an hour per wheel) and shine those fuckers up real good. I get that aluminum looking like chrome

i clean with wheel cleaner and shine with meguires chrome wheel polish.. bling!
Here's what I do with my chromies homies:
What process and products do you guys use? I'm interested in how some of the more educated guys do the chrome work.
Right or wrong here is the process I usually follow:
(wash, dry the truck body first)
1. Rinse the loose crap off the wheels
2. Spray all the wheels with Hot Rims Chrome Wheel Cleaner
3. Let it sit for a few minutes.
4. Wash the wheels a mild car wash soap
5. Rinse
6. Dry with microfiber
7. Use a can of air to get the water out of the rivets and center caps.
8. Dry again
9. Clean wheels with a carnuaba quick detailer or hydrophobic polymer quick detailer like Maguiars Ultimate for thin later of protection (makes #1 go much smoother)
Then about once a month or so, I use Mother's chrome polish with the Powerball Mini. I also follow that with a quick detail spray for a thin coat of wax or protectant.
I have used some other chrome cleaners but have yet to find one that I can't live without.

Wash mit or a towel. They are teflon coated and really nothing sticks to them that doesn't wipe right off
