Anyone have a link to covers for the fake Burlewood on the dash of my 07 LT3LT? I hate the fake wood and would much rather have brushed chrome or black or something... Anyone Anyone? I was trying to see the mods in the pics above but cant see any...

just take your wood out and get it sprayed to match your hoe.

You can replace the burl wood with the brushed pieces. I got them from my local dealer (it pays to get to know your parts guy). The z71 and LS comes with the brushed aluminum. The pieces are held in place with snaps and can be easily removed with a little time and patience.

I think the faux wood looks good with tan. But I dont like it on other interior colors. I will keep mine like that cause I think it adds a certain sense of elegance.

What's the best way to remove the trim pieces on the dash and the vents? I have trim removal tools but was afraid I was going to break the plastic.

Honestly, I just used a small screwdriver with rag covering and some gentle rocking. Everything came off fairly easy. I was surprised that it was not harder. Try with the window switch panels to get the hang of it. I did the dash last and took my sweet *** time.

Cool... sounds good. I've had the door trim and door panels off so am familiar with that. Guess I puss'd out on the dash. :)

Hey Jazejeff, is that a JL stealthbox or a custom box/sub in the console?
If custom, what size is it?

eBay section i posted a link to an ebony one(not sure if its still there, but i am sure there's one listed on eBay). As for swapping them there are people that have done it(i am not one of them) so i don't know whats involved and whatnot.
