Just like the title says, for the past 1000 miles or so i notice that if i'm reversing above 5mph in my hoe, i get an ugly ass squeal, sounds like its coming from underneath the middle of the tahoe but i cant pinpoint it. It's especially noticeable when i'm backing up my driveway. Transmission? I hope not

Thanks for the responses, had me worried for a while. How much am I looking to spend in parts?

less skinny peddle when backing up lol. Naw I agree with the above.
buy a dana spicer ujoint if you can, otherwise it should be $40-$50 labor and $30-$40 for the part. pretty easy to do yourself, just some snap ring pliers and a big fucking hammer.

Or a press makes it real easy. the hardest part is removing and reinstalling the drive shaft
