Disconnecting the battery may be a temporary fix... depending on the cause of the CEL a custom tune or Tech 2 may be your best bet. Do you know what is causing it to illumintate?

I'm guessing his overheated problem.

Yep it came on when the truck overheated...3 taps of the brake took care of the light.
