'03 Alt question

If I have a stock 2003 Tahoe I should have (select one):
A. 105 amp alternator
B. 145 amp alternator
C. Other
Thanks for helping. I am grabbing a few parts (including serpentine belt) to throw in back of the Tahoe for vacation...which starts SUNDAY! :patriot:

hard to tell honestly, it should have the part number stamped on the alt, but it is either a or b :D

Check the RPO codes. If I'm not mistaken, these are the codes for the 105 and 145 amp alts in our trucks:
K68 - 105 AMP ALTERNATOR
KG3 - 145 AMP ALTERNATOR

Thanks again...over lunch I also found out from NAPA that a person can tell from the last 8 digits of your VIN. It should be either 105 amp or 130 amp according to them.

if you plan to get one anyway, get the bigger voltage one :)

I would put money on the 105....

According to the VIN and Napa as well as verification by the local Chevy dealer; I have a 145 amp generator. Thanks again everyone!
