So I was browsing through old pictures of the truck and decided to make a thread on how far it's come. It's hard to look at all the pics because it makes you remember how much money you've spent....most the pics don't even show all that has been done to it. I've owned the truck since new in 05.

Beginning: RCD 6" with 35" Toyo's

N-Fabs went on in 07. In from 05-07 other mods were done to it instead of anything visual

Toyos finally gave up and so I got some 35" MG's.

http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k123/shsportsfan12/New%20Tires/NewTires002.jpg

Decided I wanted to body lift the truck...

http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k123/shsportsfan12/Body%20Lift/More2008.jpg

Then I got the bright idea that I wanted 37's....

http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k123/shsportsfan12/Photo%20Shoot%2011-18-08/DSC01645.jpg

After getting a winch I decided I wanted to make a bumper....so I did

http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k123/shsportsfan12/Bumper%20Build%20Dec%2008/Finishedbumper005.jpg

http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k123/shsportsfan12/Bumper%20Build%20Dec%2008/Finishedbumper006.jpg

It then got to the point I wasn't happy with the RCD and wanted something new...So I opted out the 6" Lift for a 10" Lift.

So that's pretty much it for now. In the last 4 years I've managed to blow my entire life savings on the damn thing and live the life of poverty due to it....

5.3HO. Does great actually. It has 4.88 gears so it helps out a lot.

is it geared down?

^^^ Yep. Stock was 3.42 :nono: I swapped it out to 4.88's with a Detroit TruTrac out back as well.

That's just because I cranked the front a lot to clear the 37's better... I've smashed the crap out the fenders in the sand dunes. It's also known as "Cali Lean". Personal taste I guess. I'd prefer level, but I'm find with whatever works.

As for the grill....it's been years... I couldn't tell you

Must be a southern thing....haha... Baja trucks only lift or lengthen the front and leave the rear stock with pulled fenders.

Not too bad on the highway. Not much high end to it anymore. I only cruise at 80ish :nono: and haven't driven it in about 3 months so I couldn't really tell you. Once I get it going again I'll be able to let you know. Feel free to ask away, I could go on for hours.

Only 80 lol. I cruise at 70 and think its fast. But the highest speed limit here is 55.

Every sheriff in town knows my name. Do you have a point system out there? Once you reach 6 points here your license is suspended for a year. I've been at a consistent 5 points. One will drop off, then I'll get another, etc etc.

Yep. Shackles are a temp thing right now. $40 > $800 so they will stay while I save up for springs. Not sure where you see anything Cognito though? It's an FTS kit.

Yea i couldnt see anything FTS, except for the red thats why i was wondering. I figured you would have the big fts subframe cut out logo.

The front design screams old FTS.... the side drops are clearly marked with big fat FTS design. That will be getting changed out as well.

Yea i didnt look at the pics too close to begin with, nor am i that familiar w/ the older FTS design. But when i look for the FTS logo now i can see clear as day. How much does your bumper weigh with the winch? that thing has gotta be like a tank on the front end

Definitely close to 200+ pounds. It's a fucking bullet proof front end. If I take it off I can gain close to 2" up front

It also has 1.5" wheel spacers up front now as well. These keep me from rubbing on the shocks until I have time to remake the brackets for them. They were free so I'm not complaining. Also put new rotors/pads and rebuilt the calipers today.
