Hello All,

I have a 2001 Tahoe. Looking for a aftermarket radio currently. Does anybody have any suggestions? Has anybody tried like HHGreg, and Bestbuy?

Just keeping the stock speakers for now so just looking for a unit that will work. Also does anybody know where there might be a Install guide to show how this is done?

well, what are you really looking for? Do you want nav, xm, or just a cd player. What's your spending limit? I recommend the pioneer d3 but you will need to mod your dash slightly. Otherwise a regular replacement cd player is really easy with a dash kit

Basically I am looking for a CD Player, With a Ipod plug in... And just standard radio. Thats about it. I would like to put speakers in but I am not sure if there are just bolt in speakers?

Installing all this stuff is not an issue. I work at the local shop doing a "Internship" sorta of thing. So I have tons and tons of tools!

Now, where can I find one of these dash kits? Would the local Bestbuy sell these with the radio's of I purchased one?

If thats all your looking for check out www.crutchfield.com they have a program that will tell you what fits and works

check crutchfield. they will recommend the right kit to go with your cd player. i have a pioneer 4900ib with an ipod connection. It has problem that normally pioneer doesn't have but it is a really good cd player and you can get them on the cheap on ebay

I called Crutchfield and I spoke with a Guy Named Bryce. He was a super cool guy and very friendly service as well. I will recommend them to everyone. he set my up with a whole system that I was looking for! Will Be ordering this stuff soon hopefully...
