Yes its deffinately a sleeper I would never have guess that was under the hood. When I first looked at it I thought it was stock. Guess I should have read it.

605 ci, 640 hp, 767 ft/lbs torque and 12.7 sec at 106 miles in a 3/4 ton deffinetley classifies as a slepper.. I want it in mine!

Is it a over bored 572?

605ci suburb=30k gas for a saturday night 500$ dominating almost everything on the street= priceless!!!

id stick that engine in my 2door....
im still investigating a 572 swap.... but a 605! damn!!!!

You'd have to provide the track cleaning crew when you scared the **** oughta the horses.

Maybe you could design a trailer chute that scoops it up on the 'fly'. :Plugged:

that thing is cool. But day to day your only 500 hp. Its got nitrus making it the full 700. I would rather have the all motor 650 hp motor.

It's nice, but, I think a Duramax built by Banks woulda been better.

BTW, anyone know what would need to be done in order to put a diesel in say my burb?

The biggest issue is your frame. IT would need some serious work . ANd you would have to say bye bye to your lowering kit, and after you got it back to stock, Raise it 2-3 inches to clear the tranny.

Didn't know Lingenfelter did Suburbans. That would be a great truck to tow your car to the track with.
