I have been thinking about supercharging my hoe for a while... and while its down i figured i may as well do it so i have it done when its running again. What do you guys reccomend as far as a supercharger? I was looking at eaton m90s and m112s but i cant find a manifold for the vortec motor. Any suggestions let me know.

Unfortuantely, our L31 motors are limited on what type of supercharger we can slap on. Vortech & ProCharger still have kits in production. Whipple and Radix/MagnaCharger have discontinued their kits but do have used ones floating around.

If you get a Whipple kit MAKE SURE it has the whipple electronics computer for it to fire the two extra injectors.

I like it a lot & recently went to a smaller pulley. It was a 3.5" making 8-9psi, now I have a 3.2" that should be making 11-12psi. Fortunately, another forum member was nice enough to send me the 3.2" he wasn't going to use. The best part it was BRAND SPANKIN NEW and he even shipped to me for free.

From what I see in your sig with that FLT & converter combo you WILL DEFINITELY have tons of fun with a centrifugal blower.

Where did you get yours at? new or used?

It is a used kit that I found on CL. Apparently, there was a guy selling his Tahoe and the new owner did not want the kit. He took it off & made a posting. I took a chance & asked if he would sell/ship. We went back & forth on questions/answers/pics. Once we agreed, I asked him to post it on evilbay so we can do the transaction.

These guys will 99% of the time have the best prices hands down.

I was going to buy brand new from them until I found the used kit.

You scored on that deal. Looks cool to. I still have my Thorleys/exhaust to do to. I think it would be a welcome addition to my performance list:shocked:.
I'll check out that link to. Thanks man.

AtomicHoe094,
The air cleaner is on the left behind the battery.

Here are some of different angles. I changed the initial air filter to my K&N from the FIPK kit. The GenIII & newer kits generally have the air filter behind the blower.

When searching CL, google, etc... I tried every combo to find a posting. Initially, I used the part number 1GH212-SCI as well as variations to get hits.

Give that a shot if you aren't dead set on getting a kit right away. The install is straight forward and rather easy. The wiring of the fuel pump can be tricky. Electronics is not in my speciality or comfort zone, so I got help for that.
